Last Friday, Peter Stahl (from eBay’s user experience team) and I completed our mini two-city tour that started in Miami at the IA Summit 2008 and ended here in San Francisco at the Web 2.0 Expo. Our talk was based on work we did last year to quantify discontinuities in the “Feel” of eBay’s UI, and included a description of the methodology we concocted to collect, analyze, and represent the data of “Feel”.

We had a few requests for the presentation slides, so we’ve uploaded them to SlideShare (embedded below). A couple caveats: this is the deck we used at IA Summit and doesn’t include some changes made prior to Web 2.0 Expo, and the epilepsy-inducing animation of eBay’s previous design disparities won’t play through SlideShare, but can be accessed if you download the original deck.
